The ND30 is a configuration dongle for fully managed Ethernet switches with M12 A- coded configuration interface and 14ETSW-02 (Gen 2) firmware from revision 01.03.00.
Data Security
The switch dongle provides data security through encrypted storage of the switch configuration. After pairing of the dongle and the switch, the configuration interchange and communication itself is secured by an encrypted protocol.
Easy Usage
The ND30 provides easy usage when exchanging an Ethernet switch. For the dongle no additional power supply voltage is needed. After connecting the device to the switch, the stored configuration is loaded automatically when booting the switch.
Maintenance Free and Rugged
The ND30 is designed for fanless operation at temperatures ranging from -40 °C to +70 °C (10 min @ +85 °C). It is maintenance-free and designed for use in rolling stock applications. Its cable-less design with all components soldered makes the configuration dongle reliable and robust. The long-term availability of the device minimizes lifecyle management.
