DAkkS Accredited Test Laboratory
Our in-house test laboratory is accredited by the German accreditation body DAkkS, according to DIN EN ISO 17025 for EMC, environmental simulation tests and safety of electrical equipment.
QUALIFIED TEST REPORTS FOR RAILWAY AND INDUSTRIAL APPLICATIONS
We are accredited according to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025, to supply recognized test reports for further approvals of the end system. The accreditation covers tests regarding EMC, environmental simulation and safety of electrical equipment for the railway and industrial markets. We are qualified to deliver accredited test reports that can be produced at short notice or can be better planned, without customers or duagon itself being dependent on an external laboratory with correspondingly long waiting times.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATION: COMPLIANCE WITH EN 50124-1
Our lab complies with EN 50124-1, which specifies the insulation coordination of air and creepage distances in railway applications to ensure electrical safety and to avoid short circuits or even oversizing of the insulation. Across Germany, only about 5 companies are accredited for EN 50124-1.
Certification
Our quality management system is certified according to DIN EN ISO 9001 and ISO/TS 22163.
In addition to the quality management system certification, we have experience in the functional safety sectors according the relevant standards DO-254 (DAL-A), IEC 61508 (SIL3), EN 50128 (SIL4), EN 50129 (SIL4) and EN 50657.
Capacities also cover the area of electrical safety: testing of devices for electrical safety, overvoltage, short circuit, personal protection, mechanical hazards.
