D650
Passive Ethernet TAP
Hauptmerkmale
- Passive Ethernet terminal access point (TAP) with guaranteed non-retroactivity down to the physical layer
- Monitors up to two 100 Mbit/s Ethernet network lines
- Power-over-Ethernet (Powered Device) capable
- -40 °C to +70 °C operating temperature
The D650 is a passive Ethernet terminal access point (TAP) to monitor up to two 100 Mbit/s Ethernet network lines ensuring non-retroactivity. The Ethernet TAP is capable of mirroring all network traffic on up to two 100 Mbit/s Ethernet interfaces. The network traffic is forwarded – without modification – to the monitor port. The monitor port offers a 1 Gbit/s Ethernet interface, providing enough bandwidth to aggregate two 100 Mbit/s interfaces without packet loss. The D650 can be powered directly from the battery and supports nominal battery voltages from 24 to 110 VDC. Alternatively, the device may be powered over Ethernet via the monitor port. The D650 is exclusively designed for harsh rolling stock environments and complies with the EN 50155 standard.
