Design and Development of the ERTMS System

The project involved the design of the ERTMS system for the Madrid–Levante high-speed railway line. This line provides the eastern part of the Iberian Peninsula with high-speed transit, allowing passengers to travel from Madrid to Eastern Spain in just over 1.5 hours.

Implementing improvements to the ERTMS system was crucial, as these trains are capable of reaching speeds of 350 km/h (217 mph).
