COM31XX - Communications Converters

The COM3100, COM3110 and COM3120 have been proven to survive the rigors required for Railway Vehicles including:

  • Electrical surges and transients of EN 50155 / EN 50121-3-2.

  • Shock and vibration in accordance with EN 50155 / EN 61373.

  • Operating temperature range of -40°C to +70°C and relative humidity 5% to 95% non-condensing.

Features

  • The COM3100 provides an isolated interface between a RS232 input (Local Side) and a RS232 output (Field Side).
  • The COM3110 provides an isolated interface between a RS232 input (Local Side) and a RS485/RS422 output (Field Side).
  • The COM3120 provides an isolated interface between a RS485 input (Local Side) and a RS485 output (Field Side).
  • Suitable for nominal battery voltages of 24VDC. 
  • Operating temperature range: -40°C to +70°C (+85°C for 10 minutes). 
  • Conformal Coating.
